Pain Management

Everyone experiences pain at one point or another and this unpleasant feeling often lets you know something may be wrong. There are two types of pain:

1. Acute pain – this pain is typical of short duration, usually lasting less than a week or two. It usually ends after the underlying cause is treated or has been resolved.
2. Chronic pain – this pain typically persists for months or even years.
